Marina rate information:
$1.00/ft – No minimum. Electric included
$0.50/ft for seniors

As one of the few completely natural islands along Florida´s Gulf Coast, Caladesi´s white sand beaches were rated America’s Best Beach in 2008. Beach lovers can enjoy swimming, sunbathing and beachcombing. Saltwater anglers can cast a line from their boats or surf fish. Nature enthusiasts can spot wildlife while hiking the three mile nature trail through the island´s interior or paddling a three mile kayak trail through the mangroves and bay. Picnic tables and shelters are located near the beach, and picnic pavilion has been reserved for the club Saturday night. The park has a marina with electric and water hookups, as well as a snack bar and gift shop. The 661-acre park is only accessible by boat or ferry. Ferry service is provided by the Caladesi Island Ferry (727) 734-1501 and departs from Honeymoon Island State Park.

ITINERARY:

Friday Night: “Opening Ceremonies” on the dock for tournament sign ups (around 7:00 PM):   Please bring an appetizer to share and enjoy the festivities. There will be “Mexican Train” games after dinner along with socializing on the Dock.

Dinner is “on your own” – if you’re still hungry.

Saturday 10:00 AM: Ana might lead a “Power Walk” to the point for those wishing to get some exercise in. Lee will organize some surf fishing for the anglers in the group.

Saturday 12:00 PM: The official CFCC Corn Hole Tournament begins. This will be governed by American Corn Hole Association rules for play. The format will consist of a “Boat Team” double elimination ladder tournament. Entry Fee is $5.00 per entrant ($10.00 per team) with prize money awarded for the First place team. There will also be an “Open Division” single elimination, singles tournament (Time and Weather permitting). The entry proceeds for both tournaments will be split 50/50 for First Place Winners and CFCC. This will take the place of the 50/50 drawing.

Saturday Night (around 6:00 PM): A Low Country Boil dinner will be provided. Bring your favorite appetizer, side dish or dessert and let the feasting begin.

Sunday: A leisurely day to head back home.

LAUNCH DETAILS:

On Friday around 5 PM, Whazzzup will lead a group of boats from ramp to the park and can be hailed on Channel 68.
