Spend the weekend relaxing at Boat Tree Marina with another local cruise club. The marina is located in Sanford on the St John’s River.

This cruise is a no brainer: Bring your boat, trailer and truck to the marina parking lot. Unhook the trailer from your truck and let Boat Tree’s friendly staff launch and recover your boat for you when you are ready to leave.

This is a joint cruise between CFCC and Boat Tree’s Cruise Club. Boat Tree Marina has helped our club out a great deal this year, and this is an excellent opportunity to come show your appreciation.

Marina rate information:

ITINERARY:

Friday Night (around 6:00 PM): “Docktails”: Ease on to the dock with something cool to drink in one hand and an appetizer to share in the other. Come socialize with the “Boat Tree Cruise Club”. Dinner is “on your own” – If you’re still hungry.

Saturday (around 10:30 AM): “The Pontoon Cruise”: For those who would like to go for a run up the river to Blue Springs State Park, Boat Tree has offered us a pontoon boat to use to venture up the river. Leave your boat behind or make your way up on your own (boat parking is limited at Blue Springs). We will be enjoying a picnic lunch at the park. So bring those picnic baskets with a dish to share, a towel and maybe even a noodle or snorkel and mask. Relax and enjoy the cool 72 degree crystal clear water Blue Springs has to offer.

Saturday (at 6PM): Reservations have been made at the newly owned and operated Captain’s Cove Restaurant. Come one come all and see what the new menu looks like, enjoy some live entertainment and maybe even go for a swim. For $13/person and half price for kids, a special buffet will be provided for both boat clubs. This buffet will include: Appetizers, Vegetables and Potatoes, and a wide variety of Main Dishes (actual menu to follow). As well, the new owners will have drink specials just for the cruise clubs. The new owners offer better food, much better prices and overall a much, much better experience.

CFCC/Boat Tree  Menu

Sunday: A leisurely day to hang by the pool or head back home after the pancake breakfast on the dock served up by both your CFCC and Boat Tree cruise leaders.

If you prefer to launch your own boat, an alternate ramp would be at Lake Monroe Wayside Park. This is a free ramp with ample parking. For more information about this ramp, click on the link below.

An alternative to that for a few dollars would be the ramp at Lake Monroe Park. The park is gated so security is a bit better, however you must come and go during the parks operating hours. For more information about this ramp, click on the link below. http://www.volusia.org/parks/LkMonroe.htm

Please make your reservations by April 23rd as this room rate will not be held after that. http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/mcosh-springhill-suites-orlando-north-sanford/
