Chili Cruise Review – Hontoon Island

2012 January 17
by Margot and posted in the Cruise Reviews category

The weather was great for chili — cool at night and sunny and nice for our get together. We had 7 boats on Friday and 2 more floated in on Saturday morning, totaling 9, with 3 drive-ins for the meal.

Chili was served at 4 pm, and we had 7 bowls to choose from. Judges chose John and Barb Offineer for first place and Doug and Terri Jarrett for second place. Gift cards and Tums were awarded, and the 50/ 50 was won by Jer and Jan Broadhurst after she pulled her own ticket. Great weekend was had by all that attended.

Thanks Ron and Peg
