Most people will arrive Friday. You may want to bring some snacks and a cocktail or two for out on the dock.
Saturday, Nick Peterson has agreed to lead a group out to a beach (Egmont Key perhaps) for sun and fun. I will stay behind and prepare our pulled pork dinner that will be held at the pool area. Please bring a side dish to share.
Sunday we will venture out again either to Egmont Key (if weather is
great) or down to the pass between Anna Marie Island and Long Boat Key.
We will definitely be split between A and G dock (couldn’t get further apart if we tried). Julie has assured me that the group is too large to fit totally on either dock. I have given her a list of those boats that would not have a problem with A dock (closest to pool). She said she would send a list of who is on which dock although I haven’t received it yet. I would suggest anyone on G dock bring their bike. I’ll let you know if she sends it.
Most of us will put in across the river in Palmetto. This should not be attempted at low tide. Below is the ramp information. This information and information about the marina can be found on the CFCC website. Please call me if you have any questions.
